Welcome to MSA NJ, the supportive community for those living with multiple system atrophy and their loved ones. We know that rare diseases can be particularly isolating and overwhelming, and that’s why we are committed to providing a welcoming, judgment-free environment where members can share their experiences, ask questions, and connect with others. Our support group provides an opportunity for patients and caregivers to find solace, to learn from others who have experienced the same struggles, and to access vital resources and support that will help them navigate living with rare diseases. Support group meetings have been virtual since March 2020 in response to the pandemic. Many thanks to our Board, support group facilitators and professional guests who have given their time to continue to provide this much needed support. We combined the New York and New Jersey meetings, offering virtual support group sessions alternating between the second and third Saturday of each month. Remote meetings have become a regular part of our scheduling and planning.
We welcome those outside our area who may need support or want to support family in our area from afar. If anyone is interested in attending MSA NJ meetings, please contact us to receive a link to our online support group meetings.. Links to meetings are provided via a secure email. The schedule is posted at our home page.
All meetings are 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. via Zoom unless otherwise noted.
