March is Multiple System Atrophy Awareness Month
March permanently recognized as Multiple System Atrophy Awareness Month in the state of New Jersey!
MSA NJ is thrilled to share the news of this important piece of legislation for the MSA community! MSA NJ has been diligently working with members of NJ’s government for several years to get this bill passed; on March 26, 2021, Governor Murphy signed off on the legislation making it official. We are proud to have accomplished this achievement!
Thank you to Governor Murphy, Senator Joseph Vitale, Assemblywoman Carol Murphy, Assemblywoman Britnee Timberlake, Assemblywoman Valerie Vainieri-Huttle and Legislative Director Devin Baker for your dedication and hard work in bringing this goal to fruition!

You can help! Please consider being the MSA Ambassador for your city and/or state leading March Awareness activities.
Start by requesting a proclamation in your area. MSA NJ and the MSA Coalition have partnered in this awareness endeavor since 2013 and are very close to accomplishing the goal of having all 50 states proclaim March as MSA Awareness month! Publicity through press releases, sharing links on Facebook, and spreading the word is especially important as we plan March events. It is a great time for fundraising efforts too.
